The Skala House mission is to provide serious Catholic literature for regular people. This is not from the academy or the official structures; it is for regular people who see the problems we're facing in the world and in the Church, and who are -- like me -- looking for answers.

On the non-fiction side of things, the primary focus is on communion -- how do we live out our Eucharistic faith more fully in our relationships and in our day to day lives?

On the fiction side: I am rooted deeply in the tradition and literary philosophy of Flannery O'Connor. Seeking moments of grace in the least likely of places.
